      2024 Chevrolet Equinox RS is a stylish, sporty compact SUV that combines everyday practicality with distinctive RS design. It is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, with available all-wheel drive.

      The RS adds a sportier appearance with 19-inch black wheels, black Chevrolet badging and exterior accents, roof rails, and a black interior with red accents. Heated front seats and a power liftgate are also standard on the RS.

      Inside, it offers a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while an available 8-inch touchscreen, navigation, Bose audio, heated steering wheel, and surround-view camera can further enhance the cabin. Chevy Safety Assist is standard, including automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, lane-keep assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high beams.

      With seating for five and up to 63.9 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, the Equinox RS is well suited for commuting, family use, and road trips. EPA estimates are approximately 26/31 mpg city/highway with FWD and 24/30 mpg with AWD.
